How do I delete my account?


We will miss you but it's your right! If you decide to leave the community, nothing could be easier! Just send us an email to network@stoorist.com with the subject line "I'm leaving now". We will delete all your data and close your account. Remember to keep your receipts from your visits as we will not be able to send them back to you. See you soon!

FAQ - I am a student

How can I be sure it's a student who will accompany me?


Stoorist only selects students whose student card is up to date ;)




How can I be sure that I will get a quality accompaniment?


The Stoorist community has listed the best places of interest in the city and the Stu's have been selected for their knowledge, human qualities and excellent interpersonal skills. But beware, they are not professionals guides and you have to accept that they are not perfect in everything!




If I am not satisfied with my accompaniment, can I get a refund?


Yes, you have to send us a request by e-mail to network@stoorist.com and we will study your request with the utmost attention. However, since Stu are independent professionals, we will have to conduct an investigation to determine whether or not to exclude the Stu from the community and proceed with the refund of the visit.




Do accompanying students study in the tourism sector?


Some do, but for Stoorist the most important thing is that the application matches you with a student who speaks your language and shares your passions.




Can I plan my trip in advance?


Absolutely! The app allows you to videoconference with Stu to plan your trip down to the last detail.




Can I book my Stu in advance?


Yes, you can schedule an accompaniment in the field or by video several weeks in advance.




Can I choose my Stu?


No, in order to fight against discrimination and to promote equal opportunities for everyone. What's more, all of our Stu's are exceptional, regardless of their nationality, gender or appearance!




I am a woman, can I ask to be accompanied only by female students?


Yes. When you register, as you indicate that you are a woman in the gender section, you can tick the "Ladies only" box which will tell us that all your future visits must be conducted by female Stu's only.




Can I book 24/7?


Yes the application is always available on your mobile 24/7 to make reservations.




Can I have an accompaniment at night?


No, for safety reasons, accompaniments stop at midnight and do not resume until 8am the next day.




Can I change Stu if I am not satisfied with my previous accompaniment?


The App will always match you with a Stu who meets your criteria. That being said, the chances that you are matched with the same Stu are almost non-existent. If by any chance that would happen, feel free to reach out and let us know the reasons of your dissatisfaction, we will refund you and do our best to guarantee that your next visit will be a success!




Can I re-book a Stu I thought was great?


Yes, and that's our dearest wish! You can find it in the Booking tab of the app settings. Just click on "Book again" on the summary sheet of your accompaniment ;)




Do I have to go through the app to rebook a Stu?


Absolutely! Agreeing to an accompaniment outside of the app would be contrary to the rules of the community and would result in the immediate exclusion of the Stoo and Stu responsible for such behavior...




Do I have to pay for the catering costs of my Stu if I want to eat during an accompaniment?


No, this is an agreement between you and your Stu, apart from the price of the accompaniment itself. But if you wish, you can invite your Stu and he or her will thank you all the more.




I'm a company employee and I'm on a business trip, can I book a Stu?


Of course, no problem! However, it's up to you to check with your company if they will reimburse you for the accompanying expenses ;)
